About Me
Background
Hi! My name is Jenny Pedersen. I studied Elementary Education from the University of Northern Iowa, with a minor in K-8 Mathematics. I am from Council Bluffs, Iowa. Where I attended school at Lewis Central Community Schools. I have spent the last four years living in Cedar Falls attending college. In my summers, I would live in North East Iowa, where I worked at a summer camp, as a counselor and current summer director.
Family
Spending time with family is very important to me. I am one, of three kids, to my parents; I have a fraternal twin sister and an older brother. My older brother got married in 2015 and I now have a beautiful niece and nephew. I have extended family in North East Iowa, where I spend my summers (at camp). I help out a lot on the family farm doing things for my grandma, aunt and uncle.
Hobbies & interests
I like to spend a lot of time outside. Some of this includes camping, fishing, paddle boarding, playing sports, and exploring. Traveling is something that I love to do. My goal is to visit every state and see as much as I can. Other things I enjoy doing, besides teaching, are photography, painting, cooking, and baking.
